Achieve Your Weight Goals with Aba

Red Velvet Pancakes ( with a healthy twist)


  • 1 large beet root
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup oat flour
  • 1.5 cups wheat flour
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ¾ cup flavoured yogurt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • Oil/ butter to fry


  • Blender
  • Frying Pan



  • Peel and cut beetroot
  • Boil until soft
  • Blend into puree and set to cool
  • Add  flavoured  yoghurt
  • Mix and stir
  • Add  milk, egg and vanilla.
  • Whisk all wet ingredients until frothy.
  • Fold in  your oat and wheat flour .
  • Mix gently
  • Fry in low heat butter
  • Serve!
