Weight Goals was founded in 2018 by Soteria Aba Yedua Ntim-Adu. While studying nutrition and food science at university, Aba noticed that people often sought her advice on what to eat for different health concerns. She began offering free advice and eventually started creating personalized plans for individuals, which yielded impressive results. This success inspired her to turn Weight Goals into a commercial venture so that she could help even more people.
Aba lives by the principle of total wellness and practices what she preaches. Aba holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Ghana and a Master of Science in Global Public Health Nutrition from the University of Westminster. She is also a USDA Cochran fellow and has worked in the field of nutrition across the private, public sectors where she trained caterers enrolled in the Ghana School Feeding Program.
Aba is a registered nutritionist in both Ghana and the United Kingdom. Aba mentors’ girls and women in public health and nutrition from all over the world. She is also the Founder of Mace Women’s health and Wellness, a public health Social Enterprise dedicated to the health and wellness of the African Woman.
