Garden eggs stew (Abom)

Ingredients

  • 2 garden eggs
  • 5 small peppers
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 2 boiled eggs
  • 1 onion
  • Palm oil
  • Salted dried tilapia/koobi
  • Fermented salted fish/momoni
  • Smoked mackerel

Equipment

Earthenware Bowl

Instructions

  • Boil garden eggs and pepper
  • Char tomatoes and momoni on a stick
  • Grind your onions and momoni in your earthenware bowl
  • Add your charred tomatoes and pepper to your grinded mix and add your boiled garden eggs
  • Heat your palm oil with some sliced onions and add your smoked mackerel
  • Pour on your grinded pepper and mix gently and add your koobi and eggs
  • Serve with any preferred tuber
